A few online resources if you want to learn about your chart:
Jonathan Cainer: www.cainer.com/
Britain's most popular astrologer. Daily forecasts and more. Find other links on the left side of the homepage; subscribe to 5 Star Service for weekly/monthly recorded in-depth forecasts. Look here if you appreciate an optimistic slant. He provides examples of his products.
Cafe Astology: www.cafeastrology.com/
A good place to get a free chart. From site menu on right scroll down to Free Reports & Calculations. To get your free birth chart enter date, time of birth, and birth place. There's a lot of other free information available here and some reasonably priced computer generated reports. The writing tends toward bland.
Mark Husson: www.12reports.com/
He has astrology programs (Power Peek Hour on www.hayhouseradio.com/
and one via his website) which are popular in part due to his irreverent sense of humor toward astrology. He started out as a counselor/psychologist. Be forewarned that his other websites also start with "12" and feature online psychics (12listen), courses, and radio. In regard to astrology, he does offer good quality, reasonably priced computer generated reports if you want to explore specific topics such as relationships, past life, spiritual path, etc. He provides examples of reports. There is some free stuff but it's minimal.
Eric Francis: Planet Waves http://www.planetwaves.net/
Francis is a journalist/astrologer/photographer who runs a good-looking website through which he provides his own blend of detailed psychological and political analyis, including interpretations of national and global events. No canned opinions or readings. He authors various products, as well as numerous readings such as multi-part birthday reports lasting more than an hour. The quality of his analysis stands out.
Susan Miller: www.astrologyzone.com/
Offers longer monthly sun sign horoscopes; website has advertising and her style may be off-putting to some, especially if she's conveying something negative. Okay for a fast take on upcoming trends but don't make this the only site you explore. She has been around for a long time and also publishes books and calendars.
Rob Brezsny: Freewill Astrology www.freewillastrology.com/
Widely syndicated so you've probably seen his brief weekly sun sign readings. Longer paid readings are available.
Astrodienst: http://www.astro.com/
Offers free charts and horoscopes, some more complex than free offerings from other sites. Offers various levels of for purchase reports. According to the site, the ASTRO*INTELLIGENCE reports "are considered the best (computer generated) horoscopes world-wide. The readings by Liz Greene, Robert Hand and Mona Riegger are profound and inspiring without using astrological jargon."
Mountain Astrologer: http://www.mountainastrologer.com/
Astrology journal. Has a "New to Astrology" link that provided "the beginning astrology student an overview of basic concepts"
